At the Center for Agrarian Learning (CAL), we teach, engage, and inspire entrepreneurs by sharing the latest growing and business practices to keep your farms sustainable, productive, and profitable.

FLAP's mission is to improve working conditions and opportunities for low-income workers and their households in the cannery, farms, greenhouse, landscaping, meat, nursery, packinghouse, poultry, restaurants, and snow plowing industries.

The Illinois Migrant Council or "IMC" is a community-based non-profit organization with the primary mission of promoting employment, education, health, housing, and other opportunities for migrant and seasonal farmworkers (MSFW), Immigrants, Refugees, and their families to achieve economic self-sufficiency and stability.

The Land Conservancy of McHenry County partners with residents in and around McHenry County to preserve agricultural and natural lands for the benefit and health of the whole community. TLC works with food farmers that need access to land by helping them clear the path to farm ownership.

Mano a Mano's mission is to empower immigrant families to become full participants in their community. Our vision is an integrated community where everyone has access to opportunities and pathways to success.

For 60 years the McHenry County Historical Society has strived to engage and educate current and future generations about the history of their county. Besides operating a museum and several historic properties, the Society plaques historic sites and structures, hosts workshops and classes, makes available satellite exhibits and, arranges a wide variety of school and other group programs.
